Thank you, Sabrina, for this opportunity to learn!

I have to read this post of couple of times, to understand everything, but I won’t give up!

After all, it was my dream!

And dreams sometimes come true.

You are the best, Sabrina. I was telling our interns about you yesterday and I was also talking about loop engineering on our company’s I|O. You are legend. πŸ™Œ Thank you for what you do.

The video is great , I've been following you for some time now and it's inspiring me to do a lot of stuff with AI, and making me far better at it so for that thank yo . I did look at the Skool but then I realised it is a women's only space. I was just wondering if you run any kind of general space somewhere or we'll just follow you through YouTube and chat here if there are any questions. Fully understand if you're too busy to do a general one that anyone can be part of as well.

not yet, I'd like to start an open skoool in the future, but concerned I dont have much bandwidth to deal with spammers popping up

Hi Sabrina,

Thank you for sharing this breakdown. The way you explained β€œloop engineering” really connected with work I’ve been doing recently.

The part that stood out most to me was the shift from prompt engineering to designing the actual loop: the AI does the work, checks the result, repeats, and stops only when the goal is met. That framing helped clarify something I have been experiencing firsthand while building CORTEX, my personal intelligence operating system.

In my case, the loop has become more than just automation. It has become a governed execution system. I have been working with AI agents through real software tasks where the agent cannot simply claim something is done. It has to prove it through checkpoints like scoped file changes, diff checks, builds, device installs, runtime tests, and honest pass/fail reporting.

Your point about the β€œchecker” being the hardest part was especially accurate. I have learned that the AI doing the work is not enough. The real value comes from defining what β€œdone” means, what proof is required, what files or systems are off-limits, and what the agent must do if the result does not pass. Without that, the AI can loop forever, overreach, or confidently report progress that is not actually proven.

The six parts you described also map closely to what I am trying to formalize:

Automations: repeatable execution gates

Work areas: isolated lanes so agents do not collide

Skills: saved operating instructions

Connectors: access to real tools and systems

Sub-agents/checkers: separate review and verification

Memory: persistent context so the system does not lose the mission

For CORTEX, the bigger vision is to turn this into a governed intelligence layer where the system can help execute real work, but with guardrails: no fake β€œdone,” no unsafe overreach, no private data leakage, no unapproved uploads, and no claims without proof.

Your article helped put a clean name around something I have been building through trial, error, and a lot of late-night debugging: the loop is the product. The AI is only useful when the loop around it is clear, measurable, and governed.

Thank you again for the thoughtful explanation. It was timely, practical, and directly relevant to the kind of AI systems I believe are coming next.

Hi Sabrina, haven’t had time to dig in to video, but scanned the article. Is there a world that something like loop engineering can be pulled off on Cowork? I have gotten pretty comfortable in that tab (thanks to folks like you), and have not veered to the Code tab on the right. Thanks!

Sabrina Ramonov πŸ„'s avatar

sure, I'd start with getting good at Cowork + Schedules + Dispatch

Thanks Sabrina - I genuinely appreciate everything you put out there for us. It takes me more time for me to get 'there' with all of this AI stuff - it's all very new to me.

However, I sure do want to get to where I'm comfortable with it all ... I'll be back in Blotato soon. Please don't give up on me ... I need to make this stuff work for myself, one way or another.

never giving up on you Davin :)

Thanks you are so efficient!! I am on your live stream but I probably need to re-watch 10x, LOL. But this is really cool.

honestly i spent more time preparing this newsletter than preparing what to show on the livestream, it was a bit messier than i would've liked!

I find watching you on live and then go to your newsletter, helps reinforce my learning much more.
