I Asked ChatGPT To Make Me As Much Money As Possible
How to use a PROMPT CHAIN to have a meaningfully strategic money conversation with AI
On my last AI Livestream, I closed with my official music debut! It’s been 15+ years since I played guitar and my new guitar is purple sparkles :) Join my next live every Friday 4pm Pacific!
Most people use AI for generic advice and then wonder why they’re not making more money, getting results, or seeing progress.
But what if you could chain prompts together to get 10x better answers brainstorming REAL business ideas and strategies that would ACTUALLY work?
…all in under 10 minutes?
I recently shared this exact “Prompt Chain” method in a community. Here’s what happened:
In this tutorial, I’ll give you the exact PROMPT CHAIN to run in the same AI chat. You’ll get:
One business idea (not multiple confusing options)
One mentor to study and a key principle to adopt
One 90-day launch plan (esp. if you have zero audience)
Then, I’ll show you the intermediate prompt that tests if you can actually sell it, and the advanced prompt that uncovers your biggest mindset block.
This is a Strategic Money Conversation with AI.
Let’s begin!
Here’s the full Youtube walkthrough - drop a comment/question on Youtube and I will reply to you!
Prerequisite: Establish Context
Before Prompt #1, you MUST give ChatGPT context.
I recommend my previous tutorial to teach ChatGPT about yourself.
Or, in the same chat, tell ChatGPT a little about yourself.
Example:
I’m a [Your Background]. My skills include [Skill 1, Skill 2]. I’m passionate about [Interest]. I have [Time Available] per week and a beginner-level understanding of [Relevant Field]. My goal is to build an income stream that [Vague Goal]: helps small businesses, lets me work from home, helps improve health, etc].
Beginner Prompt Chain
Next, within the SAME ChatGPT/Claude/DeepSeek conversation, run the following prompts in exact order.
I call this a PROMPT CHAIN.
The prompts are designed to build on each other within a single chat, creating context and momentum.
Prompt #1:
Based on everything you know about me, what is the fastest way for me to make [INCOME GOAL]? Limit to 1 offer and 1 channel.
Here’s mine:
Don’t be afraid to ask clarifying questions, push back, propose alternatives, question ChatGPT’s choice, etc. For example, I asked ChatGPT why it chose this high-ticket Done For You offer instead of selling courses or starting a paid community:
Make sure you have constructive dialogue back and forth after each answer, then proceed to the next prompt once you’re happy with the offer and channel.
Remember to stay in the SAME conversation:
Prompt #2:
Who is the #1 person I should learn from to succeed?
Here’s mine:
Prompt #3:
Pretend you are that person. Create a VERY SIMPLE 90-day action plan that needs <$1,000 upfront, has a 95% chance of success, and gets me to my FIRST paying customer ASAP.
Here’s mine:
This phrase “gets me to my FIRST paying customer ASAP” is key. Without this, ChatGPT will generate a typical 30, 60, 90 day roadmap where your first 30 days is spent on “preparation”.
Heck NOOOO!
You want the fastest path to your first DOLLAR because this small win will energize you to keep going. Most people quit too early or jump to the next shiny object, so it’s critically important to build momentum and conviction through compounding small wins… ideally sooner rather than later!
Intermediate Bonus Prompt
Your first 10 customers are the only market research that matters.
What others did is a hypothesis.
What you can get someone to pay for is the truth.
The following intermediate-level prompt helps you answer the question, “Can I sell it?”
Here’s the prompt:
Act as Alex Hormozi. I have no audience or distribution. My goal is to get one ‘hell yes’ or paid commitment ASAP. What are 3 specific, easy-to-run tests I can do this week to validate that real people will pay me? Each test should cost under $50 and <4 hours to set up.
My preferences: (insert)
My constraints: (insert)
If you’re not sure about “constraints”, here are examples:
you don’t want to show your face on social media
you don’t want to talk about certain topics
you don’t have budget for paid ads
Next-Level Bonus Prompt
Oftentimes, the roadmap to success is clear, straightforward, and proven by many others who’ve achieved the success you want.
However, I’ve observed that people tend to quit way too early.
One of the biggest obstacles truly preventing people from succeeding is their own mindset.
I’m not a guru! But when I first started making content, I felt all the negative things:
I felt imposter syndrome.
I second guessed myself.
I had doubts whether I could add anything valuable or new to the existing AI education community.
I worried about how I looked, my insecurities, how I sounded.
Would my friends see? Would my family see? Would successful entrepreneurs see and judge me?
I’ve designed this next-level bonus prompt to help identify the mindset block holding you back via interactive dialogue.
This time, you’re in the hotseat…
ChatGPT asks YOU questions!
Here’s the prompt:
I’m stuck at the starting line. Acting as my entrepreneur coach, ask me questions one at a time, until you can successfully diagnose the ONE mindset block most likely holding me back. Then reframe it. Finally, compress my 90-day plan into a 2-week “proof sprint” that proves I can succeed.
This is a really fun prompting framework with many variations :)

This is such a sharp breakdown of how to use AI for real strategic thinking instead of generic advice. The idea of a “money conversation” with AI resonates with what I have been building on my side. You highlight something people often miss. Good prompts are not magic words. They are a sequence that builds clarity, context, and conviction.
What you laid out aligns with where my own work is heading. I am developing a set of structured digital tools and playbooks for my Substack that help people collaborate better, make faster decisions, and turn ideas into revenue. Your chain model fits right into that future. One focused plan. One test. One first dollar. That part hit home.
Really enjoyed this. Thank you for giving people something practical they can actually run with today.
Such a great newsletter. It was easy to read, fun to play with and really productive use of time with some insightful outcomes!
