Sabrina, this is awesome. What is your view on rising technical debt with vibe coded tools? At what point, must a full stack developer be recruited, and how can we identify that sweet spot?
I love how AI is helping non technical people build their products without paying thousands to hire a developer for a simple mvp you want to test. In reality, not many want to build the next Facebook but only want to build products to solve their day to day problems.
Now that Vibe coding is the new craze, how do I know which one to start with or which one would be long term usage? Iβm guessing as a beginner, 1 tries a few simple ones before trying advanced (Replit, Claude Code).
This is an incredible example of vibe coding, and it's just beautiful. By the way, I used your prompt to keep my chats from hallucinating. It was very useful. THANK YOU. I just paid my annual Replit bill, so I'm looking forward to apps. I'm writing one now that lets me create fictional story scenes and Substack articles, and I'm having it correct the grammar (story outline and formatting). Still need to figure out 8n8 connection options. I don't even know if anybody really knows the full ramifications of this. I use Co-Pilot today to perform a bunch of (data) image extractions at work. The other people had no clue what I was doing. Creating an Excel sheet with the full production schedule. into a dashboard in two hours so far.
Youβre really a change maker because all that you freely share is literarily changing lives. Thanks a lot and God bless you for all that you do. ππΎπ«ΆπΎ
The βONE sentence app β ship β add ONE sentenceβ rule is gold (and your niece fixing the music bug before adding more features is the real lesson). Iβve started adding a tiny prompt at the end: βDefine βdoneβ + 3 quick tests I should run. Learning here as well.
Really appreicate the framing here around shifting from writer to director. That abstraction is actually spot on bc the hardest part isn't syntax anymore, it's understanding what features create real user value. I've seen a few non-tech founders spin up MVPs this way and the common pattern is they hit a ceiling arund the database architecture stage. The iterative debugging approach with single-feature additions is probaly the most useful part for anyone starting out. Curious if there's any telltale signs when a vibe-coded app is ready for a proper rebuild vs just continued patching?
With all the AI technologies, vibe coding by far is my favorite application of it. I'm from the old school days of coding websites from scratch, and when Claude first wrote me a mobile friendly webpage....my mind was blown! I made my first PWA...it is a very simple sheet music reader web app. I orchestrated the project between Claude and Replit AI agent. It was so much fun. I do love this new way of building and it's now making me want to learn the foundations.

the goal of vibe coding is to validate your product with 100+ paying users, build conviction, then hire a full-time technical person
Thankyou, Sabrina!

Exactly! Sheβs just trying to build something for herself and her mom

I answer that exact question here: https://www.sabrina.dev/p/stop-vibe-coding-the-hard-way

Thatβs amazing Bill sounds like youβre diving deep into AI, love it! For both creative use case and work βοΈπ€©
Sabrina, this was great. I built a tracking app in less than 30 minutes for free. So cool. Thanks!
Thatβs awesome Vickie!
Even an old mainfarmer can learn a few new tricks π

I appreciate your support Teekay, thank you :) hope its helping someone out there!

If I hear the term PRD againβ¦ π
Ha, fair. Iβm with you. Keeping it lightweight beats paperwork most days. π
Awesomeness!
Thank you Sabrina it was fun and amazing to follow your training .
Happy to hear that Tony!!!

When you have lots of paying customers and your app is breaking :)
AWESOME SAUCE!!!

she's currently improving her diary app and added animated cherry blossom leaves falling in the background :)
LOVE IT! The diary is such a cute and fun idea. She must be having a ton of fun! Now, I want to go and build myself a journal. :-)

Sabrina Ramonov I am excited to try coding, keep your fingers crossedπ
let me know what you think!
If a little human can do it, ...... πβπΏππΏ thanks for the share
hey she's almost my height :D
That is your day going today
That is nice
thanks glad you like it!
